Faith Hospital

Faith Hospital first started out as a clinic, but with the help of supporters, it was established as a hospital on May 10th, 2011 for local people in Hatazari area, who cannot receive medical benefit.


_Patients per day: 50~100 

_Staffs: 2 American doctors, 2 Nurses, 2 Medical assisstants, 1 Administrator, 1 Ambulance driver



Operating System            

_Open weekdays from 9am-5pm

_Treatment fee: Other hospitals costs 300 taka while Faith Hospital charges 5-10 taka (about 6-10 cents) 

_Medicine: 50 types of Bengali medicines are prescribed and charged only the actual expenses (free of charge for poor patients)

_Proceeds annual tuberculosis checkup for orphanage and hostel children



_Donation for operating expenses are needed



_Long/short term volunteers (doctors, nurses, medical laboratory technologists, radiologists)

_Donations for operating the hospital (ie: labor costs)
